HL7 message files delivered back to the PM system contain detailed billing information to automatically complete a charge. This can be delivered individually in realtime or daily in batches.

The final report is automatically faxed to the referring physician. There are also many printing options for reports and bills. Statistics are constantly tabulated about the clinical staff, and reading or ordering physician totals for administrative use.
